Like many people I did not take much notice of my superannuation fund. Retirement seemed somewhere in the distant future with a busy family and work life taking priority. Fast forward to 2015 and I found myself in Brodie Martins office discussing my GESB account. His knowledge of GESB has given me options I had little idea about. I am in the fortunate position to be able to fully salary sacrifice, allowing my superannuation to grow and minimise tax. Like many women I was in and out of the workforce and also working part time so my superannuation was not as healthy as a full time worker.
